HVAC Service/Install Technician Duties and Responsibilities:
- Servicing and repairing both Commercial and Residential HVAC systems
- Removing old HVAC equipment so new systems can be installed
- Working on Boilers (gas and oil fired), Furnaces, Mini-Split units, Electrical troubleshooting, Digital Controls
- Running pipe and duct systems through homes and buildings
- Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams
- Understanding refrigeration cycles
- Knowing how to interpret various technical data, such as pressure and temperature
- Follow instructions from Supervisor and complete in a timely manner
- On Site preparation and clean up after each job
- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times
- Work as a professional with clients, co-workers, and subcontractors
- Maintain regular attendance
Plumbing Service/Install Technician Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform bathroom and kitchen plumbing installations and repairs
- Diagnose and repair garbage disposals
- Repiping services for residential and commercial properties
- Install, repair, and maintain water heaters, including tankless systems
- Conduct camera inspections for sewer and drain issues
- Perform drain cleaning and hydro jetting services
- Install and service sump pumps for flood prevention
- Implement backflow prevention measures to ensure water safety
- Read and interpret plumbing blueprints and schematics
- Adhere to local plumbing codes and safety regulations
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding service needs and solutions
- Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects efficiently
- Maintain professionalism and a strong work ethic on every job
- Ensure timely completion of tasks as directed by the Supervisor
- Dependable attendance and willingness to respond to service calls as needed
