Job description:

We are looking for experienced Service and Install HVAC Technicians for Immediate Hire. Our Technicians have the opportunity to cross train for other positions within the company.

HVAC Technicians Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years of documented HVAC operations, maintenance, repair, and install in HVAC trade
  • Must be EPA Certified
  • Must have a valid Driver's License with clean driving record
  • Great customer service and communication skills
  • Work well with others and independently with little instruction
  • Competently handle a large company vehicle (such as van and truck) including parking and backing up in tight spaces
  • Have basic record-keeping, organizational skills, and detail oriented
  • Utilize critical thinking skills, problem solving abilities, exercise good judgement when completing tasks in an efficient, correct, productive, and timely manner
  • Flexibility to work overtime/weekends/holidays as necessary

HVAC Service/Install Technician Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Servicing and repairing both Commercial and Residential HVAC systems
  • Removing old HVAC equipment so new systems can be installed
  • Working on Boilers (gas and oil fired), Furnaces, Mini-Split units, Electrical troubleshooting, Digital Controls
  • Running pipe and duct systems through homes and buildings
  • Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams
  • Understanding refrigeration cycles
  • Knowing how to interpret various technical data, such as pressure and temperature
  • Follow instructions from Supervisor and complete in a timely manner
  • On Site preparation and clean up after each job
  • Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times
  • Work as a professional with clients, co-workers, and subcontractors
  • Maintain regular attendance
